- PuTTY 0.85 source archive, windows/installer.wxs and windows/version.rc2: the MSI Product and Package Manufacturer is "Simon Tatham", the product name is the version string plus a platform suffix (for example "PuTTY 0.85 (64-bit)"), the install scope is per-machine into a "PuTTY" folder under Program Files, each platform has a fixed UpgradeCode, and executables carry CompanyName "Simon Tatham" and ProductName "PuTTY suite". FAQ A.5.2: settings live in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\SimonTatham\PuTTY. Changes page: 0.79 restored per-machine scope after 0.78 used per-user scope, so both can coexist on one machine.
