- PuTTY Licence (release 0.85): the single condition of the grant is that the copyright notice ("PuTTY is copyright 1997-2026 Simon Tatham", with the listed portions copyright holders) and the permission notice are included in all copies or substantial portions of the Software. The notice is shown in the About box and shipped as the LICENCE file; the MSI installer installs LICENCE alongside the executables.
