- GPL-3.0 section 8: any attempt to propagate or modify outside the licence is void and automatically terminates the rights. Rights are reinstated provisionally when the violation ceases, and permanently if the copyright holder does not notify within 60 days of cessation, or if it is the first notice from that holder and the violation is cured within 30 days of receiving it.
