- MPL 1.1 Section 3.2 required Modifications to be made available in Source Code form, and, when made available electronically, to remain available for at least twelve months (or six months after a later version). The Revision FAQ describes MPL 2.0 as replacing this fixed period with availability whenever the executable is made available. MPL 1.1 is obsoleted by MPL 2.0 but still governs code received only under it unless relicensed under Section 10.2 of MPL 2.0.
