- Firefox administrator reference, Firefox and Firefox ESR (last updated 2026-09-25): new ESR versions are released annually; each ESR version then receives incremental security updates as minor or patch releases, while UI and other feature changes are limited to the annual ESR releases. From Firefox 155 (September 2026) the Firefox release channel ships a new major version every two weeks.
