- Where the licence type supports it, users can borrow a multi-user licence to run Minitab, Workspace or Simul8 away from the network; a borrowed licence stays checked out until returned or the period ends. Administrators can reserve licences from borrowing (BORROW_LOWWATER) and cap borrow time (MAX_BORROW_HOURS) in minitab.opt. Sample licence files carry BORROW=26280.
