Minitab

Minitab makes statistical and quality-improvement software, including Minitab Statistical Software, Minitab Engage, Minitab Workspace, Minitab Connect and Simul8. Its products are sold as subscriptions, either single-user or multi-user.

  1. Minitab products and services are licensed or subscribed, and the published agreements apply unless the customer has another agreement directly with Minitab.[1]

  2. The subscription agreement grants a non-transferable, non-assignable right to use the software during the subscription term; for Named User-Based subscriptions, access is limited to the number of individual users purchased.[2]

  3. Minitab may audit use, at its own expense, during the term and for one year afterwards; if unlicensed use is found, the customer must buy licences at then-current pricing from the date the unlicensed use began.[3]

  4. Use of locally installed software in virtualised environments is at the customer's own risk.[4]

  5. Single-user and multi-user subscriptions are managed in the Minitab License Portal, where desktop licence files are created and renewed.[5]
