- LGPL-3.0 §4: a Combined Work may be conveyed under terms of the distributor's choice that do not restrict modification of the Library portions and reverse engineering for debugging such modifications, if the listed notices, license copies and relinking means are provided. LGPL-2.1 §6 (February 1999) states the equivalent condition. GPL FAQ: static linking requires providing the application in object form so the user can relink; dynamic linking to a library already on the user's computer need not convey the library source.
