- FortiGate-VM administration guide: the v-series and s-series do not support virtual domains by default; VDOMs are added by separately purchased VDOM addition licences, stackable up to the model maximum after deployment. The data sheet sells S-series VDOM subscription seats of 5 VDOMs (maximum 500), and on-demand marketplace instances do not support VDOMs at all. (vendor page undated; as published on 2026-09-30)
