- GNU LGPL 2.1 §4 (February 1999): the Library may be distributed in object code or executable form if it is accompanied by the complete corresponding machine-readable source code; where object code is offered for download from a designated place, equivalent access to the source from the same place satisfies the requirement. The 7-Zip FAQ meets this for unmodified binaries by requiring a link to www.7-zip.org, where the source code can be found.
