- Product Support Policies: "EDM is subject to additional fees. During the EDM period, Teradata provides Extended Database Maintenance for the development and distribution of critical patch/e-fixes for a limited time for Teradata Database and Teradata Tools & Utilities (TTU) software."
- Commercial rules
- Follows the 3-year maintenance period of the 3+2 policy. Eligibility requires a stable environment, the latest maintenance release and acceptance by Teradata; after EDM the system defaults to a fee-based Support Only period with no patches.
- Applies to
- Teradata Database 16.10 and later and pre-16.00 releases, TTU; not Aster, Hadoop or DIY public cloud deployments unless Teradata makes it available.
