- Definition
- Specific Offering Terms: a licensing model in which Customer commits to an aggregate annual dollar amount based on committed daily ingest and daily search volume capacity, establishing a separate ABP Subscription Balance for each Splunk Cloud Platform instance.
- Commercial rules
- Search and ingest usage is pooled within, but not across, each instance balance. Usage more than 20% above the daily commitment may degrade performance and, if consistent, requires optimisation or purchase of more ABP capacity at the Order unit rates. Up to 20% of an annual period's quoted ABP value can roll over to the next period of the same instance. At the end of the initial term, a renewal of equal or longer term at an equal or higher annualised commitment carries forward up to 1/12 of the final-year commitment; other positive balance is forfeited and a negative balance may be invoiced. Monthly usage reports are provided.
- Applies to
- Splunk Cloud Platform instances and quoted ABP Premium Apps.
