- Institution agreements: the licence runs by academic year starting August 1 (or January 1 for institutions that choose it), may be prorated in the initial term, and renews automatically at Licensor's then current pricing and terms unless the Licensee notifies discontinuation in writing.

- Invoice about three months before August 1 (Respondus 4 and K-12 agreements) or before the renewal term (LockDown Browser); payment due by the renewal date; fee changes need 60 days' notice before renewal; termination mid-term brings no refund or proration.
