- A member may extend product use to client companies when it opens use as part of its mandate by passing it on to the client (Leistungsverbund); the member must point the client to DATEV's copyright.
- Commercial rules
- Clients may use products only for their own company and for internal, non-commercial purposes; use in affiliated companies needs DATEV's consent. Connecting clients to the firm's systems to share firm licences is only allowed under licence rules DATEV sets in the individual case (see Mandantenanbindung).
