- Academic Policy: individuals using Anaconda on behalf of an Eligible Academic Institution receive free access to the Starter Plan through registration in the Anaconda for Education Program.
- Commercial rules
- Accredited colleges, universities and other higher education institutions only; K-12 schools are not eligible. Use is limited to non-commercial, educational purposes. Free for 12 months, then annual re-verification and re-signing. Program users are exempt from the scaled enterprise deployment restriction and from the redistribution restriction for non-commercial educational use. Existing paid subscriptions are waived for the remainder of the term without refund.
