- Billing Terms: the customer and Akamai agree an "Agreed Upon Monthly Traffic Level" for Services for which the customer has elected Overage Protection; the Contracted Rate is the monthly fee divided by that level.
- Commercial rules
- Akamai may bill usage above 150% of the Agreed Upon Monthly Traffic Level at the Contracted Rate, monthly in arrears from the fourth month, only after usage exceeds 150% in any three months of a rolling 12-month period. Affiliates at the Billing Effective Date may use the Services; entities acquired later may not without written agreement.
