Akamai Technologies provides content delivery, application and network security (including Guardicore segmentation and Enterprise Application Access), and cloud computing services. Services are sold under Akamai's service terms and billing methods, cloud computing is billed by usage, and downloadable software and SDKs carry product-specific licence agreements.

  1. Akamai publishes separate licence agreements for its downloadable products and SDKs, including Guardicore Software, Enterprise Application Access and Secure Internet Access connectors, CloudTest and Prolexic On-Prem, and states that users of those products are bound by the applicable agreement.[1]

  2. Open source or third-party components in Akamai software may be subject to separate copyright notices and licences, which Akamai makes available to customers.[2]

  3. Akamai's service and legal terms are published as support terms, service billing methods, service descriptions, service terms of use and software licence and use policies.[3]

  4. Akamai Cloud compute is billed at an hourly rate rounded up to the nearest hour, invoiced on the first day of the following month, with possible mid-month invoices if an account reaches a billing limit.[4]

  5. For the managed Kubernetes Engine, customers pay for the resources consumed, with a high-availability control plane at US$60 per cluster per month and LKE-Enterprise at US$300 per cluster per month.[5]
