- Tasks usage: "A Task is a single action step that a recipe executes. Every action a recipe runs counts as a Task, regardless of which app it uses. Triggers and control flow steps don't count as Tasks."

- Triggers and control flow (IF, loops, Stop job, error handlers) are not counted; each action step counts 1 Task, and each loop iteration counts again; a bulk or batch action counts 1 Task regardless of records; a failed action that succeeds on retry counts once; mocked test actions count; a synchronous recipe function call counts 1 Task plus the function's own steps; AI by Workato steps count as more than one Task (rate set by contract); IDP and Event streams steps are not Tasks. Some plans use Business actions instead of Tasks.
