- "One (1) license unit is consumed per prescribed amount of protected source data size, measured in GiB or TiB of raw (non-deduplicated and uncompressed) data size. License is consumed based on the total protected capacity only therefore data change rate has no impact." (Licensing Policy v19, §3.8.)
