- Definition
- "Subscription license" means a license type that grants customers the right to use the latest version of the software for a specified length of time or term, depending on the SKU purchased. Basic or Production support and maintenance is included for the entire term (Licensing Policy v19, §3.18).
- Commercial rules
- "The maximum pre-paid term for a Subscription license is five years." Multiyear subscriptions are billed upfront in one SKU or annually with all yearly options purchased together on the initial order (§1.3, §2.9). Renewals are at Veeam's list price in effect at the time of renewal unless expressly agreed otherwise (§1.9). "VUL license expiration will, following the grace period, disable all product functionality." (§1.5).
