- Unity Manual, Licensing overview: Serial-based licensing is a node-locked licensing solution that manages access through a serial key that Unity sends the customer; the activation is associated with the computer where it was activated.
- Counting rules
- A paid commercial licence allows one person to use Unity on two computers that the person has exclusive use of (Unity Manual, License troubleshooting). Only one serial-based licence can be active on a computer at a time. The licence must be returned before changing computers, hardware or operating system.
