- Education FAQ: a seat is a licence for a single computer within a multi-user licence. A multi-user licence is intended for several individuals and has a minimum of five seats.
- Counting rules
- Activate on as many computers as there are seats. The EULA describes the seat count as the maximum number of simultaneous users, either on machine-based licences on shared computers or from a pool of floating licences; the education FAQ states floating licences are not currently available. In the Multi SKUs, one Multi licence equals one seat and redeeming further codes for the same SKU adds seats to the existing licence.
