- Docs, Billing Quota Management: "Error - What counts as an error varies by platform, but in general, if there's something that looks like an exception, it can be captured as an error in Sentry." Errors are the billing unit of Sentry Error Monitoring.
- Counting rules
- Only accepted errors count toward quota. Events dropped by spike protection, rate limits, inbound filters, SDK sampling or a quota that has been exceeded do not count. Issues do not count, but the errors that comprise an issue do. A repeat event for a resolved issue or an ignored issue counts; a repeat for a Delete and Discard issue does not.
