- Definition
- Product Specific Terms §27.1: "Redgate Flyway Teams and Redgate Flyway Enterprise are licensed on a Per User basis." Each user contributing or inputting database changes to the pipeline needs a licence of that edition (§§27.5-27.6).
- Counting rules
- A developer or engineer who writes database code changes contributed to a Redgate Pipeline counts as a Flyway Enterprise user even without using Flyway directly. Up to 5 Service Accounts need no extra licences (§27.2). Report readers and those who only configure the pipeline need no licence (Flyway FAQ). Any number of databases may be in the pipeline (How Flyway per-user licensing works).
