Redgate Software

Redgate Software makes database development, DevOps and monitoring tools, including Flyway, SQL Toolbelt, SQL Prompt and Redgate Monitor. It publishes separate EULAs for subscription, perpetual, SaaS and retired products.

  1. Redgate publishes separate licence agreements for perpetual licences, subscription licences, SaaS and retired products.[1]

  2. The Subscription EULA grants a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the subscription software during the Subscription Period in return for the subscription or renewal fee.[2]

  3. The Perpetual EULA grants a perpetual, limited, personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence; some tools are also offered free as Freeware or Core Edition software.[3]

  4. Where pricing depends on usage (for example number of people or servers), Redgate may inspect records annually to check that use has not exceeded what was paid for.[4]

  5. The agreements may not be assigned or transferred to a third party without Redgate's prior written consent.[5]
