- Definition
- OpenEdge EULA s.4.2.2: a Concurrent Device License (also "Concurrent User License") grants the right to install and use the Product "on a single Server and on a single Platform"; "You may have in use at any given time a maximum number of Concurrent Devices accessing the Product".
- Counting rules
- Peak simultaneous Client Devices, Non-Human Operated Devices or Processes, licensed per Server: each Server that runs the Product (including disaster recovery, load balancing, clustering, development, testing and reporting) needs its own dedicated Concurrent Device licence. Splitting 100 devices across two Servers requires licences for both. Not transferable between Servers or Platforms.
