- OpenEdge EULA s.4.1.1: "“Access Agent” means a user (or Non-Human Operated Device) that (i) cannot be uniquely identified and/or (ii) can only access the Product or an application which accesses the Product for less than two (2) hours a week."

- Licensed per Access Agent on a single Platform, normally in combination with Named User or Registered Device licences. Available only for certain OpenEdge products at version 11.7 or lower, or for customers who held Access Agent rights on or before 2019-02-15 (s.4.2.7).

- Must be bought with Named User and/or Registered Device licences unless no user or device can be identified or uses the application two or more hours per week.
