- Usage Metrics 1.14: a specific, individually identified person authorized to access and use the Software Service. The licence is assigned to that individual and is not tied to a device, location or concurrent usage count.
- Counting rules
- A Named User licence may not be shared and may only be transferred by permanent reassignment. It is a limit that may not be exceeded at any time during the Term, not an aggregate over the Term. For CMS (SaaS) and CMS (PaaS) a user with at least one CMS role counts, once across instances.

- Limit set by the Usage Volume for Named Users in the Order.
