Definition
EULA section 5.1: a time-limited right to install on any number of devices and use on one single device per licence. "A license server or Teams Account Dashboard must monitor the use and ensure that the licensed number of concurrent uses is not exceeded."
Counting rules
The number of concurrent users may never exceed the number of valid Teams Floating Licenses; users must be employees or similar of the same legal entity (affiliates need a separate licence); use is limited to four contiguous time zones fixed by first use (section 5.5). Floating licences can be assigned to users and to groups in the Teams Dashboard.
