EULA section 3.1: a Subscription License gives the User "the time-limited, remunerable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable and personalized (“Named User”) right to install the Software on any number of devices" and to use it on one single device, not on different devices concurrently. Section 2 grants the same Named User right for a Perpetual License without a time limit.
Counting rules
One licence is allocated to one person. It can be installed on any number of devices but used on only one at a time. Switching devices is limited to five licence releases per day (EULA section 10.2). The Maxon App documents Assign, Release and Transfer actions for moving a licence between devices.
