- Definition
- ADS Licensing guide: where supported, Keysight EEsof offers distributed N-pack (or Turbo) licences "where N is the number of concurrent parallel jobs supported (typically, N = 8)."
- Counting rules
- A standard simulation licence is checked out first and acts as controller; the N-pack is reserved up front when the distributed simulation starts and released when the sweep completes. Several N-packs can be stacked for greater parallelism. An N-pack is limited to one simulation type and cannot be shared between users or circuits.
- Floors / minimums
- Without an N-pack, Momentum runs the sweep sequentially on the standard licence; transient, convolution and channel simulators launch jobs that each pull a standard simulation licence.
