- Definition
- Host hours documentation: "A host hour is one host being active for one hour." Host hours = number of active hosts x hours each host is active.
- Counting rules
- What counts as a host differs by product: an OS instance for Application Observability, a Kubernetes node for Kubernetes Monitoring, a database instance for Database Observability. Containers and pods are not hosts. A host is active while sending its identifying telemetry (the pricing FAQ: a signal in the last 15 minutes). Telemetry from these products is billed separately at standard rates.
- Floors / minimums
- Free and Pro include 2,232 host hours per month per product; Pro from USD 0.025 (Application Observability), USD 0.01 (Kubernetes Monitoring) or USD 0.07 (Database Observability) per host hour.
