Grafana Labs
Grafana Labs develops the Grafana observability stack (Grafana, Loki, Tempo and others) and the Grafana k6 load-testing tool. Core projects are open source under AGPLv3, with proprietary Grafana Enterprise licences and the usage-based Grafana Cloud service as commercial options.

Grafana Labs moved its core projects (Grafana, Grafana Loki and Grafana Tempo) from Apache License 2.0 to AGPLv3, starting with Grafana 8.0, Loki 2.3 and Tempo 1.0; plugins, agents and certain libraries remain Apache-licensed.[1]
As a non-AGPL option, Grafana Labs offers a free-to-use, proprietary-licensed Grafana Enterprise binary that can be upgraded to commercial Enterprise features by purchasing a license key.[2]
Customers who want to modify the AGPL version and distribute it or offer it as a network service without AGPL obligations can obtain a commercial license.[3]
The k6 source repository is licensed under the GNU Affero General Public License, Version 3.[4]
Grafana Cloud's Pro tier charges a platform fee of USD 19 per month with included usage per product and pay-as-you-go beyond it; Enterprise pricing is based on an annual commit.[5]
