- Counting rules
- Resource and inactive accounts are excluded where the platform flags them; otherwise all ingested mailboxes count. With journaling, unique SMTP senders from the dominant (licensee) domain count if higher than other counts. SharePoint backups require all users with read/write access to be licensed. Journal mailboxes do not count when protected with software. HCL Notes/Domino meters against capacity instead.
