Zabbix SIA develops the Zabbix open-source monitoring platform. The software is released under the AGPLv3 from version 7.0 with no licence fee, and Zabbix sells technical support subscriptions, cloud hosting and services.

  1. Starting from version 7.0, Zabbix is released under the GNU Affero General Public License version 3 (AGPLv3).[1]

  2. Zabbix versions up to 6.4 were released under the GNU General Public License version 2 (GPLv2).[2]

  3. Zabbix documentation is not covered by the GPL; it may not be published or redistributed except as described on the licence page or with written consent.[3]

  4. The Zabbix software has no licence fee; subscription pricing is based on support response coverage, access and commitments, with unlimited hosts, devices, users and metrics.[4]

  5. Published support subscription tiers are Silver (from $325 per month billed annually, 8x5 support, 1-day response), Gold, Platinum, Enterprise and Global.[5]
