Licensing at a Glance
- Subscription
- Per device
- Per server
The Y Soft EULA (version 6, effective 19 July 2016) binds all users of software developed or delivered by Y Soft Corporation, a.s.; SAFEQ Cloud has separate terms of use.[1]
A licence certificate states the licence grant date, the modules and quantities licensed (for example number of servers, clusters, terminals and connected devices), and the period for which the licence may be used.[2]
The EULA defines subscription licences (for a definite period, extendable by further payments), outsourcing licences for providing services to third parties, NFR copies for presentation or training, and trial copies for evaluation.[3]
Licences are granted solely for the licensee's internal business use and may not be assigned, lent, leased, sub-licensed or otherwise transferred without Y Soft's prior express consent.[4]
The licensed software may contain code that disables its operation if, among other conditions, the licence fee is not paid in full.[5]
