
XML Security Library
The XML Security Library (xmlsec) is a C library based on LibXML2 that implements XML Signature, XML Encryption and canonicalisation, written and maintained by Aleksey Sanin. It is released under the MIT licence.

The xmlsec, xmlsec-openssl, xmlsec-gnutls and xmlsec-gcrypt libraries are copyright Aleksey Sanin and licensed free of charge to use, copy, modify, merge, publish, distribute, sublicense and sell, provided the copyright and permission notice is retained.[2]
The licence forbids using Aleksey Sanin's name in advertising or to promote the sale of the software without his prior written authorisation.[3]
Portions of the xmlsec-nss library were created using source code or APIs governed by the Mozilla Public License, and the MPL requirements apply to those portions.[4]
