Witte Software develops Modbus test and simulation tools, including the Modbus Poll master simulator, the Modbus Slave simulator and Modbus components for .NET and ActiveX. All products are sold as perpetual single-user licences through FastSpring.

  1. All Witte Software licences are perpetual and include free unlimited support and maintenance upgrades; the licence key and invoice are delivered by email.[1]

  2. A single-user licence may be used on any number of computers as long as only the licensed person is using it.[2]

  3. Payments are handled by FastSpring, with volume pricing tiers for multiple licences.[3]

  4. The Modbus Poll and Modbus Slave trial versions disconnect after 10 minutes per connection and stop allowing connections after 30 days.[4]

  5. The .NET controls run fully in trial mode but disable communication functions after 30 minutes per run; the ActiveX demo has a 60-minute limit.[5]
