VK

VK operates the Mail services at mail.ru, including Mail email, Cloud Mail storage and the Disk-O: desktop application. The services are licensed free of charge under non-exclusive licences, with paid additional features licensed for the period purchased.

  1. The Mail services user agreement is between the user and VK LLC (ООО «ВК»), which it identifies as the rights holder of the Mail sites, services and programs.[1]

  2. Mail services are provided free of charge unless the agreement or an individual service's agreement provides otherwise.[2]

  3. Free service features are licensed under a simple (non-exclusive) royalty-free licence, while paid additional features are licensed under a non-exclusive licence for the term of the paid feature.[3]

  4. The Disk-O: desktop application for Windows and macOS is licensed free of charge except for additional features, which require payment of a licence fee; the licence is fulfilled once licence keys are provided and is not refunded if unused.[4]

  5. Under the Disk-O: licence the user may use the service for personal, non-commercial purposes, may not sublicense it, and the licensor may limit the number of computers from which the application can be used.[5]
