VisualSVN

VisualSVN Software develops VisualSVN Server, a Subversion server for Windows, and the VisualSVN extension for Visual Studio. VisualSVN Server has a free Community edition and paid Essential, Enterprise and Enterprise Multinode licences sized by number of users, sold as perpetual licences with 12 months of maintenance.

  1. The VisualSVN Server Community licence costs nothing, allows up to 15 users and may be used commercially.[1]

  2. Paid VisualSVN Server licences come in Essential, Enterprise and Enterprise Multinode editions, each sold in fixed sizes by number of users; the licence must cover the number of users who access the server.[2]

  3. VisualSVN Server licences are perpetual and include 12 months of free upgrades; after the maintenance period ends, newer versions, including bug-fix and security releases, require a renewal.[3]

  4. Maintenance can be renewed at 50% of the full licence price if renewed no later than 90 days after expiry, and renewals always start from the expiry date of the previous maintenance period.[4]

  5. All Essential and Enterprise features can be evaluated free for 45 days without a credit card or registration.[5]
