VanDyke Software

VanDyke Software develops the SecureCRT terminal emulator, the SecureFX file-transfer client and the VShell SSH server. Its licences are sold per computer under a standard EULA and include one year of updates and support.

  1. Most VanDyke licences, including single and multi-computer licences, are governed by the standard End User License Agreement and sold on a per-computer basis.[1]

  2. Every VanDyke licence purchase includes one year of software updates and support.[2]

  3. Client licences are not platform-specific: the same licence can register SecureCRT or SecureFX on Windows, macOS or Linux, but only on one machine at a time, subject to Section 3 of the EULA.[3]

  4. VanDyke sells to corporate, government and educational customers, and quotes pricing on request for quantities above the published price list.[4]

  5. VanDyke does not offer special discounts for nonprofit organisations; standard licence prices apply.[5]
