Unit4
Unit4 makes ERP, financial planning, human capital management and procurement software, delivered mainly as SaaS. Services are sold by subscription against a Volume Metric such as FTE employees or user type, under Unit4's General Terms of Business and product-specific Service Terms.
Licensing at a Glance
- Subscription
- Named user
- Capacity (data, assets, nodes)
Unless the Sales Order says otherwise, subscription services continue for the Minimum Term and then automatically renew for successive three-year Renewal Terms.[1]
A Volume Metric is the unit of measure Unit4 uses for a service, for example an FTE employee or a type of user; Authorised Users are the users or units of that metric permitted in the Sales Order.[2]
Unit4 may audit the customer's use of the services on reasonable notice, no more than once a year; if use exceeds the Authorised Users, the customer owes the underpayment for the whole period at Unit4's prevailing rates.[3]
The customer may not transfer, assign, sub-license or sub-contract its rights under the agreement without Unit4's prior written consent.[4]
Unless an Order Form says otherwise, the FTE Employee metric weights workers by category: those scheduled for more than 24 hours a week count as full-time equivalents, and all workers count as full-time unless the customer shows otherwise.[5]
