Trimble

Trimble makes construction, geospatial, and transportation software and hardware, including SketchUp, Tekla, Trimble Business Center and Viewpoint Vista. Software is sold as subscriptions or term licences under the Trimble Offering Terms, with product-specific usage limits in its Supplemental Terms for Software.

  1. Trimble Offering Terms v4.0 and Supplemental Terms for Software v3.0 (both last updated 13 August 2026) apply to purchases unless there is a separate written agreement.[1]

  2. Subscriptions may be used only during the Subscription Term, and Licensed Software is granted under a non-transferable, non-sublicensable, non-exclusive licence for the term in the order, in both cases only for the customer's internal business purposes.[2]

  3. Usage Limitations set in the order, supplemental terms or documentation can include the type of Authorized User (such as Named User or Concurrent User), seat, copy, instance, storage, CPU, location, asset, project or budget.[3]

  4. Offerings may send usage, key status, compliance and activation data to Trimble for licence metering, and if a customer exceeds its Usage Limitations Trimble may invoice the excess at its then-current list price.[4]

  5. The Supplemental Terms for Software set product-specific limits: for example, Trimble SiteVision and TerraFlex may be installed on any number of devices but only one copy used at a time, Trimble Catalyst may be in use on only one device per Authorized User at a time, and Trimble Business Center may run on a virtual server as long as the licence server component is not virtualised.[5]
