Tricerat

Tricerat develops ScrewDrivers, print management software for environments such as Citrix, Azure, VMware and Microsoft remote desktops. It sells seat-based annual subscriptions priced by concurrent users, and its EULA also provides for perpetual licences.

  1. Tricerat's annual subscription fees are seat-based, charging for the number of concurrent users, with tiers that depend on software version and user volume.[1]

  2. Subscription licences are charged an annual fee and renew automatically unless cancelled 30 days before the end of the current subscription period.[2]

  3. The number of subscription licences purchased at the start of a subscription period is a fixed commitment for the term and cannot be reduced before the term ends.[3]

  4. A perpetual licence is limited to the version of the software actually purchased and does not include rights to later versions, upgrades or support unless a separate Tricare agreement applies.[4]

  5. Tricerat may audit the licensee's use, including comparing products in use with licences issued, with at least ten days' notice, during business hours and normally no more than once per year.[5]

  6. The licence is non-exclusive, non-sublicensable and non-transferable.[6]
