• Teradata Database 16.10 and later (3+2 policy). Three years of maintenance and support from general customer availability to the End-of-Maintenance date, followed by a two-year Extended Database Maintenance period at Teradata's discretion and subject to additional fees. [1][2]
• Extended Database Maintenance (EDM). A fee-based period of critical patches and e-fixes for Teradata Database and Tools & Utilities that ends, at Teradata's discretion, two years after the End-of-Maintenance date. [1]
• Support Only period. A fee-based period after EDM that provides problem reporting, case creation and workarounds but no maintenance, patches or crash dump analysis. [1]
• Teradata Tools & Utilities Support Lifecycle. Software problem resolution for no less than 36 months from the general customer availability date of the release. [1]
• Managed Application, UDA and Analytic Application Support. Problem resolution is provided for the then-current major/minor release; customers on older releases receive support-only service that may carry additional fees. [1][2]
• Aster and Hadoop Software Support. Three years of maintenance and support from the Teradata (Aster) or Hadoop distribution vendor (Hadoop) availability date to the End-of-Maintenance date. [1][2]
• Hardware Support Lifecycle. Remedial maintenance for six years from the Platform Sales Discontinuation Date (five years for third-party hardware platforms). [2]
