TEC-IT Datenverarbeitung

TEC-IT Datenverarbeitung is an Austrian developer of barcode, label printing, reporting and data acquisition software, including TBarCode, Barcode Studio, TFORMer and TWedge. Licences are sold by scope (single, workgroup, office, site, enterprise and developer) and are perpetual unless stated as subscriptions.

  1. A Single (Workstation) licence permits use on exactly one computer, is tied to that system's System-ID, and may not be used in server applications such as web or Citrix servers.[1]

  2. A Workgroup licence covers 10 computers and/or 10 concurrent users and an Office licence 100 computers and 100 concurrent users, each within one site (one postal address).[2]

  3. A Site licence covers several computers within one site, limited to a maximum of 250 concurrent installations or users per licence; multi-location companies need an Enterprise licence or additional licences.[3]

  4. Licence keys are bound to the main version of the product, and unless stated as a subscription licence, all licences are perpetual with a one-time fee.[4]

  5. Passing licence keys to third parties or other locations of the same enterprise is not permitted, including as part of the customer's own applications.[5]
