SysTools

SysTools publishes Windows and Mac utilities for data recovery, email conversion and migration, and forensics. Its software is sold as perpetual or subscription licences in personal, business, enterprise, user-based and device-based types.

  1. Licences are either perpetual or subscription licences for a specific term, as stated in the order form, and grant a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to install and use the software in object code form.[1]

  2. A Single User (Personal) licence allows installation on one computer for non-commercial use only.[2]

  3. A Business licence covers unlimited computers within one office in one geographic location, while an Enterprise licence covers unlimited computers across the organisation's branches.[3]

  4. Registered User licences are tied to a single individual and device-based licences to a designated computer; neither can be assigned or transferred.[4]

  5. If SysTools suspects a breach, the customer must supply a signed certificate verifying compliance within 30 calendar days, or the breach is deemed to have occurred and the licences may be terminated.[5]
