Synametrics Technologies

Synametrics Technologies makes the WinSQL database query tool, Syncrify backup and synchronisation software, SynaMan file transfer server and Xeams email server. Each product has a free edition, and paid editions are sold as perpetual licences with optional support, with SynaMan also offered as a per-user subscription.

  1. WinSQL Lite is free for commercial and non-commercial use; WinSQL Standard ($99) and Professional ($299) are perpetual licences with a free 30-day trial and an optional yearly support contract.[1]

  2. WinSQL volume licensing gives one free copy for every five copies purchased.[2]

  3. Syncrify licences are counted per machine where the Syncrify Client is installed (physical or virtual), and there is no charge for Syncrify Server.[3]

  4. The free Syncrify Personal edition is for home users only; any business or commercial use requires a Professional licence, and purchases of 50 or more licences are promoted to an ISP edition with branding.[4]

  5. SynaMan is sold either as a monthly subscription priced per user for one machine, or as a perpetual licence for any one machine with unlimited users and an optional annual support contract.[5]

  6. Without a valid SynaMan support contract, a perpetual licence can still be used indefinitely, but upgrades to newer versions and email or phone support are not available.[6]
