Spotify operates an audio streaming service with desktop and mobile client apps. Some service options are free of charge and others are Paid Subscriptions, all licensed for personal, non-commercial use.

Certain Spotify Service options are provided free of charge, while others require payment before they can be accessed (Paid Subscriptions); trials of Paid Subscriptions may be offered.[1]
Spotify grants a limited, non-exclusive, revocable permission to make personal, non-commercial use of the Spotify Service and Content.[2]
Users may not redistribute, sell or transfer the Spotify Service or Content, and must only access the version of the service offered in their country of residence.[3]
Premium plans in the US are Individual (1 account), Duo (2 accounts), Family (up to 6 accounts) and Student (1 account, discounted for eligible students).[4]
