SonicWall

SonicWall makes firewall appliances and network, endpoint, email and cloud security software and services. Its software is licensed under an End User License Agreement per appliance, per user or per managed node for the term stated in the order.

  1. SonicWall's General Commercial Agreement applies to all SonicWall offerings, and multiple sets of terms (EULA, Cloud Solutions, Managed Security Services, General Services) may apply to a single offering.[1]

  2. Software is licensed in the quantities, manner and License Term specified in the order; software licensed per Appliance may be used only on the Appliance on which it was delivered.[2]

  3. For software licensed by User or Managed Node, a User is each authorised person with login credentials (credentials may not be shared) and a Managed Node is any object the software manages, such as firewalls and devices.[3]

  4. If no term is specified in an order the initial term is one month, and licences terminate at the end of the term unless a renewal has been ordered or set up.[4]

  5. On request, customers must provide a signed deployment report; over-deployment is invoiced at current list price without discounts plus maintenance and fees, and audit costs are payable if unpaid fees exceed 5%.[5]

  6. Software may not be transferred or assigned without SonicWall's prior written consent, SonicWall may charge a transfer fee, and license keys may not be transferred to others.[6]
